This picture is from a teaching experience that classmates of mine had in our PED 244 class. As a class we went down to Berea Community and taught the elementary students there, but since my group had already taught, two different groups taught this time. Watching these groups, I learned a lot about teaching, especially about PE teaching. It was easy to tell that the kids enjoyed physical activity, and it goes along with what we learned in our book for that class, that all children have a motivation to be active. I also saw that students don't need to be motivated about winning a competition. In fact, they don't really need to be told it is a competition, because they can turn it into one on their own. While one group was teaching, it was very easy to tell that they had not thoroughly planned out their lesson because there was a lot of standing around time, and during a Physical Education class, especially one that only lasts for 30 minutes, it is very important to keep the students moving as much as possible!
